Health Effects of Acute Overexposure
Swallowed Generally recognised as safe, but hazardous if swallowed in large quantities.
Eyes May cause irritation to eyes.
Skin Repeated or prolonged contact with the skin can cause dermatitis.
Inhaled Not considered hazardous at ambient temperatures.
   
 

FIRST AID
 
Swallowed Seek medical advice if irritation persists after first-aid treatment.
Induce vomiting.
Eyes  Immediately rinse eyes thoroughly, including under eyelids with running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical advice if effects persist after First-Aid treatment.
Skin Immediately remove all contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash the skin thoroughly with water.

Eyes Provide ventilation sufficient to maintain Low level of vapour in workplace or Storage area. Keep all doors and Windows open and use forced Ventilation to extract vapour from Confined spaces. Respiration required If not well ventilated.
Clothing Wear PVC gloves and goggles. Observe good industrial hygiene.
Gloves Avoid contact with skin.

Fire Extinguisher Media Water fog, fine water spray, foam or dry agent.
Special Fire Fighting Procedures Fire Fighters should use self contained breathing apparatus and protective gloves in case of fire.
