DeepSeal AS is a water-based advanced acrylic polymer emulsion with a uniquely high glass transition temperature. It dries to form a non-yellowing film with outstanding water resistance, hardness and durability. The wetting properties of the emulsion have been optimised for application to concrete, so that the sealer penetrates below the concrete surface.
To seal concrete, paving and masonry products with the view to providing long term protection from staining, providing a water clear wet look.
HOW TO SPECIFY
All exposed surfaces shall be treated by 1 – 2 coats of DeepSeal AS. The application rate is determined by consultation with a representative of Know How Concrete Technologies. Most surfaces 1 Litre = 5 – 10 m2 per coat. All surfaces to be clean and dry, and concrete to be 21 days of age before application.
HOW TO USE PRODUCT
Apply a light even coat of DeepSeal AS to surface with a brush, roller, lambs wool applicator or low-pressure spray. Allow surface to dry between applications of any subsequent coats.
Reduction in liquid penetration while allowing transmission of water vapour; Resistance to staining of materials such as oils, BBQ fat, food, etc; Enhancement of colour within the concrete; Reduces dirt pick up and scratching / scuffing of the surface; Will not yellow when exposed to sunlight.
All natural unpainted masonry, concrete and pressed clay surfaces.
All tools and equipment should be cleaned thoroughly with clean water immediately after use. If dry, DeepSeal AS may be removed with acetone.
Any excess material should be mopped up from surface and not allowed to pond.
DeepSeal AS will give many years of protection; however life expectancy will depend on the surface and environment in which it is placed.
DeepSeal AS is non hazardous, but normal hygiene should be observed following use. Avoid contact with eyes and do not consume. The dried polymer can be hard to remove, so the use of protective gloves, etc in recommended. Should contact occur, flush thoroughly with clean water.
